Introduction:

The Electronics and Telecommunication Student Department (ETSA) at Government College of Engineering, Nagpur, has had a remarkable year filled with a diverse range of activities aimed at enhancing the knowledge, skills, and community engagement of our students. In this annual report, we summarize the key events and initiatives that shaped the academic year 2022-2023.

1)  Workshops:

Throughout the year, ETSA organized a series of workshops to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to the latest trends in the field of electronics and telecommunications. The workshops included:

-  "Need of Electronics in Industry":

A seminar aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. Industry experts shared insights into the evolving role of electronics in various sectors.

-  "Interview and Interpersonal Skills":

Focused on developing crucial soft skills, this workshop equipped students with the necessary tools to excel in interviews and interpersonal interactions, fostering holistic professional development.

-  "PCB Designing Workshop":

Providing practical knowledge in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design, this workshop empowered students to translate theoretical concepts into tangible applications.

-  "Workshop on ARM":

An in-depth session on Advanced RISC Machines (ARM) architecture, enabling students to explore and understand the complexities of modern computing systems.


- "Robotics Workshop":

A hands-on workshop where students delved into the world of robotics, gaining practical insights into designing and building robotic systems.

2)  ETSA Donation Drive (November 2022):

In November 2022, ETSA organized a successful donation drive, reflecting our commitment to social responsibility. A total of Rs. 15 thousand was collected and donated to the Home for Aged and Handicapped in Untkhana, supporting the elderly and those in need within our community.

3)  Industrial Visits to NU Intelligence (December 2022):

To bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world applications, ETSA organized an industrial visit to NU Intelligence in December 2022.

Students had the opportunity to witness cutting-edge technologies and interact with industry professionals.

4)  Department Flagship Event - "HORIZON" (May 2023):

The highlight of the year was the department's flagship event, "HORIZON," held in May 2023. The event featured a diverse range of technical and non- technical activities, including:
